- I would highly recommend this very compact and easy to use voice recorder. Homder Digital Voice Recorder is easy to keep close by and fits wonderfully in the palm of your hand. Since it is voice activated, you don't need to look down from the road to turn it on. You simply speak into the microphone and watch everyone around you wonder why you are driving down the road, talking to yourself. Just wait until they experience the change you are about to bring to the world with a few words. With the amazing memory size, you can drone on to yourself for extended periods of time. With the ease of recharging, you can stay up all night, until you get the idea right.
- Homder Digital Voice Recorder is a pretty solid voice recorder for the price. It's made of actual metal and feels really sturdy when you're holding it. It also picks up sound really well and the sound quality is pretty good when playing back my own voice notes. I also tried it in a big boxy room with a person speaking in front, and it picked them up pretty well, but there was a lot of echo from the room. But that's expected since the space was so big and square, I was just happy that I could still hear the presenter well from a few rows back. The on/off switch is actually a switch and not just a button, which I think is really great so you don't accidentally turn it off. It seems to have really great battery life as well - I recorded an hour without the battery gauge dropping at all. The screen on it is helpful for know which settings you're using, and the manual it comes with helps explain the basic usage pretty well. The only thing that took getting used to is that the up and down on the volume are reversed from what you'd think, but it just takes a second to adjust to that. It also comes with an 18-month service warranty, so I'm guessing if you have any issues within the first year and a half, you can at least get it repaired from the company, so that's a nice assurance. Based on the build quality, though, you probably won't need that since it feels like you could drop this on concrete without breaking it. I also like that Homder Digital Voice Recorder comes with 8GB of built in memory so you can record plenty of data without having to buy an extra card for it. Overall I'm pretty impressed with this little recorder. It's super compact, sturdy, records well, has lots of battery power, and if you set your settings to record at lower quality you don't notice much difference and it can record for a long time.
- This Homder Digital Voice Recorder seems to be one of the best on the market. It records all sorts of voices and sounds very clearly and efficiently. It also lasts a long time as it has 8 GB of storage. Easily connects to your computer to save files, or add music. There are a few things that could improve. Two examples - the date is incorrect on my voice recorder and I'm not sure how to change it. Additionally, to fast forward or rewind, you push the + - buttons for volume - kinda confusing until you figure it out. I think that the instructions could have been a bit better. Overall, love the quality recording and am a fan of this voice recorder!
- Great microphone, crisp sound within 10 feet easily. Does fine in pocket, minimal fabric sounds. Playback audio is loud and clear, nothing amazing, but very adequate for quick playback. UI is fine for browsing recordings, but for anything heavy duty I connect to the PC. I especially struggled with deleting recordings, it's not the easiest button combination, so imo you're better off doing any actual management on the PC. But start/stop and replay last recording are easy to get to and quite intuitive, and that's all I really needed on-device. On PC, the recorded audio sounds very high quality. Haven't tried to expand the memory but 8GB is a lot of audio. Material wise this thing is great, nice heavy metal with a solid feel. Overall Homder Digital Voice Recorder is an excellent recorder with a lot of extra features for the price.
- Clear sound from at least 20 feet away. Used Homder Digital Voice Recorder immediately upon receiving since I have some important lectures this week. Also picked up some additional voices from across the room so I would hope it also captures questions from lecture. If I have any change of heart, I’ll update the review after lecture this week so far it should be great. Small and seems to have a good microphone range and clarity. Glad one professor allowed this, others do not. Just let us record and listen again.
